West Health’s CEO Shelley Lyford participated in a panel at the Fifth International Vatican Conference titled: Quelling the Quandary of Drug and Therapy Affordability for Chronic Diseases. The discussion centered on moving toward a more value-based pricing system for prescription drugs while still fostering innovation. Also, the panel explored the market failures of drug pricing and the solutions that can help patients access affordable drugs that improve the quality of their lives.
