May 19 - May 20, 2016

Researchers from the West Health Institute have five posters on display at the 2016 Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Geriatrics Society, representing our latest findings on how healthcare delivery and social services can be improved to enable seniors around the country to age successfully.

Covering issues like Emergency Department use projections and home-care discharge for seniors, caregiver support and improving home-based primary care, these posters showcase the institute’s successful aging research.

Three posters have received special recognition by the organizers, with posters on caregiver support and home-based primary care included in the special Presidential Poster Session Thursday afternoon, while another poster on discharging Emergency Department seniors to home care was selected to be highlighted on AGS’ science walking tour on Friday afternoon.

Please see below for the list of five of our research posters at this important conference, along with discussion times where you can meet the researchers who developed these posters.
